The Vice Dean of the College of Medicine (female section) launched the events of ‘Global Handwashing Day’ at the College of Medicine (female section), observed every year on the 15th of October under the slogan "Clean Hands for Everyone." The event was attended by college staff members and students.

The vice dean visited the awareness corner prepared for the event, and expressed appreciation for this event, which reflects the educational and preventive role of the college. She also stressed the importance of actively participating in awareness-raising activities that will promote health awareness among all segments of society.

The vice dean of the college stated that the college undertakes its educational and preventive role by increasing awareness about the impact that washing hands has on public health and highlighting its importance in reducing disease and improving quality of life by providing awareness and educational messages and observing international health awareness days.
