The Deanship of eLearning & Distance Education organized a training course at the College of Pharmacy on Monday 9th January 2017 (11th Rabi’II 1438H). The event was supervised by both Dr. Al-As'ad Al-Sumairany and Dr. Osama Bureiky Al-Jarrary. Moreover, it was attended by a group of Pharmacy College staff members who were invited by Dr. Muhammad Al-Arja, the Accredited Trainer at the Deanship of eLearning.
The training event started with a summary of the Deanship’s training programs that aimed at visiting all UQU institutes and colleges during the current academic year to organize training courses about using eLearning management and benefitting from its tools. In addition, such program was subjected to continuous assessment by teachers and students and witnessed many year-on-year enhancements. Besides, the course tackled three elements: Significance of E-Learning and UQU Available Infrastructure, Methods of Curricula Management, and Environment of Learning and how to build electronic content.
The course and its explained tools witnessed great turnout and attention by the College’s staff members. In other words, all participants in the event directly activated their curricula contents on the Portal and used the explained tools such as News, Groups, Discussions, Submission Folder and Marking Management.
