On Rabi’ al-awwal 19-20, 1438H; corresponding to December 20-21, 2016, the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning; represented by the sections of the girls and the boys, participated in the scientific sessions and the accompanying exhibition of the First Forum for Scientific Research that was held by the Deanship of Scientific Research at the UQU over 2 days at Thari pavilion.
The deanship has prepared for this forum by its coordinators; Dr. Hassan Al-Sabbagh, and Dr. Wudad Qazqaz, who participated in all preparatory meetings, and were the key contact between the administration and the researchers of the deanship on one hand, and the organizers of the event on the other hand. In addition, they prepared the pop-up, posters and presentations that presented the main achievements of the deanship in the field on scientific research, in collaboration with the faculty members of the deanship.
On the first day of the forum, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, the UQU President, visited the pavilion and checked its content that was presented by Dr. Abdulkhaleq Dawlah, Dean of E-Learning, who addressed the main achievements and successes of the deanship in the field of scientific production and research, as well as the development studies conducted since the establishment of the deanship in 1433H till this moment, with the aim of improving the outputs of the educational process at UQU. Besides, Dr. Dawlah also tackled the research projects and empirical researches that were conducted within the framework of the UQU’s E-Learning programs that were developed in light of the National Vision 2030, and whose results were published in international magazines and were presented in national and international conferences. Furthermore, Dr. Dawlah confirmed that the faculty members of both girls and boys sections have participated in the event with 8 distinct scientific posters which were published internationally during the past period.
