The training course that was organized by the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education was observed by all staff members of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics. The course was on E-Learning Platform and its various programs and tools, and it was allowed by Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) for the benefit of students and professors.
The e-meeting was held at the E-Learning Laboratory, King Abdullah Library, Abediyah Campus on Monday 13th Rabi'I 1438H (12th December 2016). The presentation of the meeting was supervised by Dr. Al-As'ad Al-Sumairany and Dr. Osama Bureiky Al-Jarrary, while it revolved around e-learning basics, curricula management and educational content building. Moreover, all the college’s professors attended all parts of the training event and were headed by Dr. Waheeb al-Harbi, Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, and his assistants.
It is worth mentioning that the organization of such meeting was within the framework of a training program prepared by the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education to include the various UQU colleges and institutes. The implementation of such program has been taken over by Dr. Abdul-Khaliq Dawleh, Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education, and Dr. Khaled Al-Mutairy, the Vice-Dean.
