The College of Applied Sciences, represented by the Mathematical Sciences Department, held a workshop entitled "Introduction to Latex" for the postgraduate students in the college on Tuesday and Wednesday, corresponding to 9-10 Safar, 1441 A.H.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Faiza bint Muhammad Al-Lehyani and Dr. Abeer Bakhsh. It included practical training on the program and how to make use of it in academic writing.

The Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Rajaa bint Tahir Maatouq, pointed out to the importance of the course and expressed the college's willingness to organize similar courses and scientific lectures. She also urged female students to attend these workshops for their positive role in raising the scientific and technical level of the students, which will contribute to sharpening their skills in many fields.
