As part of the developmental activities for academic staff of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, the development and training unit at the college organized a specialized workshop in collaboration with the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality. The workshop, which was held on Wednesday 3 Safar 1441 A.H. (corresponding to 2 October 2019 A.C.) provided training for the academic staff on amendments made to models of the courses and curricula specifications specified by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment. The workshop focused on explaining the concepts related to the domains of specification of basic learning outcomes, knowledge, skills, and competences, and how to formulate then conceptually and linguistically.
The 5-hour workshop, which was presented by Dr. Dhiyab Al-Maliki, included practical training. The training reflected the professional relationship and the level of friendly relations between the members of the academic staff in the college. Al-Maliki praised the friendly and professional atmosphere of the workshop. He described it as one of the most fun workshops, which is reflected in the added value of the workshop's scientific content.
The workshop is one of the internal activities of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics. It is designed to improve the skills of the academic staff and strengthen their ability to undertake the academic and administrative tasks of the college.
The workshop was attended by the college vice deans, the heads of departments, program coordinators, quality coordinators, and a group of faculty members.
