The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education is proud to be honored by the Committee of Deans of E-Learning and Distance Education in Saudi universities at its seventh meeting, as Umm Al-Qura University, represented by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, won first place in terms of registration numbers in the courses organized by the committee.

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Falih Rajaaullah Manie Al-Sulami, granted a shield to Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, during a ceremony, which was held on Thursday, 5 Safar, 1441 A.H., corresponding to 4 October, 2019 A.C. It is worth mentioning that King Khalid University hosted the seventh meeting of the Committee of Deans of E-Learning and Distance Learning, which was attended by the Vice Dean, Ahmad bin Rashid Al-Bashiri, and Her Excellency the Acting Vice Dean for the Female Section, Hanaa bint Abdul-Raheem Yamani.

During the meeting, the proposal put forward by Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, was presented. It is related to the policies and standards for quality assurance of the e-learning practices in the higher-education institutions.
