Public Health College Participates in Workshop to Dicsuss Tawiah's Recommendations

The College of Public Health and Health Informatics participated in a workshop to discuss recommendations set by the Religious Counseling Forum (Tawiah) in Health Sector which was held on Wednesday, Moharram 18, 1438H.

It was held under the auspices of President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas.

It was organized by the Higher Institute for Promotion of Virtues and Prevention of Vices at Al-Aziziyah UQU's Campus. The workshop's agenda covered the improvement and activation of role may be played by the health care guides at general hospitals according to Health Minister's decision. The forum ended its activities up with ten recommendations. The workshop later was held to ensure implementation via a program takes Saudi Vision 2030 into account.

According to these recommendations, the forum called for developing a health diploma to improve religious counseling in the field. The college took part in the workshop to investigate the health-related subjects which are scheduled to be available in less one month
