Under the noble patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Abdul-Salam Noor Wali; the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Amro bin Taha Al-Saggaf; the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Student Activities and Training, Dr. Omar bin Siraj Sonbol; the Club Supervisor at the Deanship of Student Affairs, Mr. Adnan Ginaiwi; the Administration Manager of the College of Medicine, Mr. Omar bin Ahmad Bazaraah; and the academic and administrative staff of the college, the student club was launched by the Head of the Club, Dr. Bassim Al-Sharif, in the presence of the Club Supervisor, Mr. Ahmad Alim. The ceremony took place on Wednesday Rabe` Al-Awwal 13, 1440 A.H., corresponding to November 21, 2018, A.C., at Al-Abdyyiah campus.
The ceremony began with a brief presentation about the club's achievements and future vision under the support of the Deanship of Student Affairs. this was followed by a speech from the Dean of the College of Medicine, who dubbed the club as an investment place for the creative energies and capacities of the students which will have a positive impact on honing and directing the cultural skills of the students towards achieving the desired goals. Then, the Dean of Student Affairs and the Vice Dean for Student Activities and Training spoke about the outstanding role of the student clubs in serving the community.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Abdul-Salam Wali extended his thanks and appreciation to Prof. Abdullah Bafail and the Dean of Student Affairs for his dedication to students. He also extended his thanks to the Vice Dean of Student Activities and Training, the Club Supervisor, the Head of the Club, and all those in charge of it and prayed for Allah to help the club achieve its desired goals.
