UQU President Launches Website of Health Sciences College at Al-Leith

Umm Al-Qura University President Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Al-Assas has launched the website of Health Sciences College at Al-Leith during a meeting with the college's dean, Dr. Faris bin Mohammed Noor Altaf along with a number of the teaching staff and students. Dr. Al-Assas expressed admiration for the comprehensiveness and simplicity of the website.

Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Assas received the annual report of the 1435-1436H academic year which includes a list of departments of the college, achievements, agreements, community services, future plan and statistics statements. The University's president lauded efforts exerted by the college to turn its ambitions into a reality. Al-Assas wished success for the college's staff members.

In the meantime, Dr. Al-Assas reviewed the "Be Aware" campaign launched by the college in cooperation with the Al-Leith Education Department. The college created six teams of students who visited schools to raise health awareness. The campaign will also include visits to be paid for the health centers and government entities. 

Dr. Al-Assas lauded the campaign as voluntary social step that serves the community and the nation. He praised cooperation and solidarity between the college's leadership, teaching staff and students for the sake of homeland. He received a memorial shield from Dr. Faris as a present on the occasion.

At the conclusion, Dr. Faris heighted support paid by the UQU president which, according to Dr. Faris, comes as no surprise from Dr. Al-Assas who is very keen to follow up every nook and cranny at the college. He said that his support led the college to the achieve success, thanks to Allah in the first place and to other support received by the college along with its other sister colleges. He added: "Such successes push us to overcome challenges and to stand up to take the responsibility of serving the students of the college."
