The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education has developed a new prolific program of study for the new academic year 1437/1438H that is meant to boost the culture of e-learning among students and staff members.

The program provides a number of key and important activities including class and remote training courses in addition to inductive workshops that guide students in different departments. Also, it provides a package of field tours to the institutes and colleges in Makkah and other UQU's campuses.

The e-learning deanship is planned to take part in the newcomers forum that would be organized by the Student Affairs Deanship. The forum is dubbed the "Promising Start" during which presentations, brochures and guidebooks would be given for students to sharpen their knowledge about Umm Al-Qura e-learning system.

Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education Dr. Abdul Khaliq Abdussalam asserted that this year's program is rich and provides a variety of activities that would be carried out by all students.

The dean made it clear that different departments at the university would be assigned to organize trips to classes and listen to students' feedback on the education process. During these trips, the students would be briefed about the deanship's services and the e-learning program details, he said.
