As part of the scientific events organized by UQU College of Applied Sciences under the supervision of the Dean, Dr. Waleed bin Jameel Altaf, the first scientific forum for Chemistry Department (second semester) was held on Wednesday, 7th Jumada I 1439 H

 Under the Theme:

Various Research Methods about Coordination Chemistry that Generate Significant Application Domains

By:  Prof. Dr. Nashwa Mahmoud Al-Motawally

Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry

In the presence of a number of staff members in Al-Abediyah and Az-Zaher, and a number of interested persons in this forum.

In her presentation, Prof. Dr. Nashwa Al-Motawally demonstrated concerns about the necessary and significant applications of coordination complexes. She also explained the distinctive coordination complexes in which metallic atoms play the basic role. In addition, the presentation included the significant application domains rich in coordination complexes such as treatment, industry, nutrition, as well as manufacture or modification of medicine. Moreover, many scientific papers demonstrating the distinction of many coordination complexes in the afore-mentioned domains were discussed.

After the forum, a scientific discussion was raised between the attendees and Prof. Dr. Al-Motawally, who was handed an appreciation shield for her participation in the presentation of such forum.
