
The 1st Saudi Conference for Clinical Toxicology was organized by the Saudi Toxicology Society, Faculty of Medicine, Umm Al-Qura University, in collaboration with the Security Forces Hospital in Makkah.
The conference was held at the Security Forces Hospital Program, Makkah – Main Auditorium, from 18–20 April 2017, running daily from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, and offered 23 CME hours.
The conference focused on key themes in clinical toxicology, including the fundamental concepts of clinical toxicology, the management of intoxication, common drug toxicities, and the role of laboratory investigations in diagnosis and patient care.
It targeted a multidisciplinary audience, including physicians, pharmacists, specialists, technicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, with the aim of strengthening knowledge and clinical practice in the prevention, recognition, and management of poisoning and toxic exposures.

The 2nd Saudi Toxicology Symposium was organized by the Ministry of Health, represented by the Maternity & Children Hospital, Makkah, in cooperation with Saudi Toxicology Society STS, Umm Al-Qura University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
The symposium was held from Tuesday to Thursday, 3–5 July 2019 corresponding to 28–30 Shawwal 1440 H, and was accredited for 30 CME hours.
The main focus of the symposium was to enhance clinical knowledge and practical skills in toxicology and poisoning management. Its objectives included reviewing alcohol toxicity and intoxication with unknown substances, exploring new trends in clinical toxicity, learning how to manage poisoning cases and new antidotes, reviewing the role of ECG as a diagnostic tool in clinical toxicology, and understanding therapeutic drug monitoring. The event targeted mainly doctors and pharmacists, aiming to strengthen clinical practice and improve the diagnosis and management of toxicological emergencies.

The 3rd Saudi Conference on Clinical Toxicology: Biological Toxins was organized in collaboration with Umm Al-Qura University, the Saudi Toxicology Society, and the Virtual Medical Academy. The conference was held from 22–24 March 2022, from 04:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and was accredited for 24 CME hours.
The main focus of the conference was to provide updated knowledge on biological toxins, including their types, classes, clinical symptoms, and treatment approaches. The conference addressed the health and economic impact of biological toxins, management and therapeutic considerations for intoxicated patients, the role of healthcare professionals in the prevention and analysis of biological toxin exposure, and the different resources of biological toxins and how to manage them. The event targeted physicians, healthcare professionals, and students, aiming to strengthen clinical awareness, diagnostic ability, and professional preparedness in dealing with biological toxin-related cases.
