To ensure impartiality and integrity of the legal department team and to avoid conflict of interest, it's prohibited for any legal department professional, representative, auditor, supervisor, vice supervisor or unit head to take part in any case that is referred to the legal department if he, his wife, divorcee, any of his relatives or affinity up to the fourth degree has a personal interest in the case or interest with UQU adversaries, any party to the case, or whoever has intimacy or antagonism relationship with the university adversaries or the party involved in the case, where such relation may adversely affect his role, or if he is a proxy, administrator, guardian or trustee on behalf of the university adversary or the party involved in the case.
Any Legal department team member with any of the above cases should inform the supervisor general and request to be removed from his job. The supervisor general has the right to approve or reject such request. If all the above cases are applicable to the supervisor general, he has to transfer all his powers regarding the case in question to his deputy or any of the heads of the units, and inform the president of the university about this issue.
