Honorary titles are awarded by the Honorary Titles Committee.
Types of Certificates:
- Honorary title certificate for consultants who meet the requirements.
- A certificate of thanks from the College for specialists who contributed to training the students in hospitals, or those who helped to supervise the students in hospitals, but do not meet the requirements of the honorary title.
- A certificate of thanks from the UQU President for those who received the honorary title five times.
Time of Submission:
The first semester of each academic year.
Date of Accreditation and Honoring:
The second semester of each academic year.
Procedures:
- The clinical departments shall submit a list of nominated names, who have met the requirements for obtaining a certificate of thanks or honorary title, to the Department's Council, and ensure that the required forms are filled out for each case by clicking here.
- Candidates shall be included in the subjects of the relevant department to be discussed according to the approved rules and regulations.
- The list of candidates and the nomination requirements shall be submitted to the College's Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research for review and implementation of the necessary procedures.
- The list shall be approved by the College Council.
- The certificates shall be issued and announced on the College's website by the Office of the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and shall be included in the College's database.
- Certificates shall be presented in the second semester of each academic year at a special ceremony to be held for this purpose.
