The Clinical Simulation Center is a source of inspiration for innovators in the College of Medicine at Umm Al-Qura. It represents a pioneering step towards raising the educational level of our students to be in line with international standards, in terms of training, learning, and evaluation. The establishment of the center was associated with many stories of diligence, time, and the work of concerted teams that have been crowned with success, praise be to Allah. The building and then equipping of this lofty center with high-tech advanced tools and devices is not the only merit it possesses, as the center is also operated to run a solid and supportive project. It comes as no surprise that this achievement was made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. This is in order to encourage this branch of science and support the study of medicine in the Saudi Kingdom, in general, and in Makkah, the birthplace of revelation and the location of the sacred sites, in particular. One of the most important objectives of this distinguished project is to provide the greatest opportunity for our male and female medical students to achieve as many learning competencies as possible before their graduation. Another important aim is for the center to become an example at the regional level and at the level of the kingdom. |
