Within the framework of the joint cooperation between the Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), represented by the Public Health and Heath Informatics College, and all the governmental entities, and as part of training and qualifying the students for the labor market, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Osman Alameen, Dr. Waheeb ibn Dukhaillah Alharbi, the College’s dean, visited the Makkah Education General Department. There, he held a meeting with Mr. Mohammed Almadkhali, the assistant director-general of the school affairs, and Mr. Mohammed Mastour Alslimi; the school health director. The visit aims at discussing the joint cooperation between the College and the Department in all fields.    

Dr. Waheeb extended thanks to the Department, represented by the School Health Department, for giving the students of the College’s Awareness and Health Enhancement Department the opportunity of training and participating in evaluating the experiment of the health - enhancing schools in Makkah . The assistant director-general of school affairs also offered thanks to the UQU and its students represented by the College’s Awareness and Health Enhancement Department, for the efforts they exerted in helping the School Health Department in the evaluation process. Similarly, it has been agreed upon drafting a joint cooperation agreement for training on the medical work at all school health units for the College’s students during their study and during the medical intern period which the College’s first batch will join next year.

At the end of the visit, the Dean of the Public Health and Heath Information College extended thanks to the UQU President, Dr. Bakri bni Maatouq Asas, for his constant, continuous support to the UQU and the College and its students. Also, souvenirs were exchanged at the end of the visit.
