The College of Public Health and Health Informatics hosted the consultant of Family Medicine, Dr. Muhammad Malibari, to talk about the reality and future of primary health care in the Makkah region within the framework of the periodical development meetings for academic staff members at the college.
Dr. Muhammad Malibari holds several administrative posts in the different facilities of the Directorate of Health Affairs in the Makkah Region, one of which is the primary health care administrator.
The meeting focused on the international foundations upon which primary healthcare is built in the region in particular and in the Kingdom in general and the developments that have occurred in the last twenty years, as well as the future steps which will be adopted by the Ministry of Health and the Health Affairs Directorate in Makkah regarding the national transformation programs in the health sector focusing on primary healthcare which is one of the pillars of Saudi Vision 2030.
The meeting was attended by the college vice deans, the heads of departments, as well as a group of college faculty members.
Wrapping up the meeting, the college presented a memorial shield to the guest in return for the rich discussion he presented and managed during the lecture.
