Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health and Health Informatics, Dr. Wahib Dakhilallah Al-Harby, an orientation was held for new students.
The meeting began with the recital of verses from the Holy Quran, then Dr. Hamid Ghanem gave a speech in which he introduced the faculty mission and vision, followed by a speech by Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Fadel Bangar, where he talked about the University and faculty systems, the role of academic advisor, and some issues related to the educational process. Then Dr. Ahmed Abdullah gave a speech concerning training in the faculty.
This was followed by an introductory speech concerning the college-student activities - under the supervision of Prof. Yusuf Azhar - and their relationship to the educational process, presented by student Ghassan Al-Harby.
Then the faculty Dean, Dr. Wahib Al-Harby, gave a speech, in which he spoke of the important aspects related to students, teachers and various activities in the faculty, followed by a dialogue between His Excellency and the freshmen.
At the end of the meeting, gifts were distributed to new students, with a light breakfast. Moreover, students were given participation forms in student activities.
