Stemming from the principle of community service and continuous education, and out of the desire to activate the non-profit community partnership contract with the Education Administration in Makkah, the College of Public Health and Health Informatics held the "Young Paramedic" workshop on Tuesday Shaaban 8 1439H, from 09:00 am to 10:00 am at Al-Nadwa Primary School in Makkah. The session was delivered by the CPR and first aid trainer, Dr. Obaidullah bin Hameed Al-Lihiani.
The workshop aimed to raise the level of the knowledge of possible dangers among primary schools students, in addition to highlighting the importance of a first aid kit, as well as being trained to deal with bleeding, wounds, and minor burns.
As the workshop came to a close, the principal of the school, Mr. Abdul-Hakeem Al-Ansari, extended his thanks to the Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, Dr. Wahib bin Dakhil-Allah Al-Harbi, and Dr. Obaidullah Al-Lihiani, for the fruitful cooperation to build the student’s knowledge and skills in terms of first aid to serve their families and community.
