Based on the principle of community service and continuous education and in order to activate the nonprofit community partnership contract with the Education Administration in Makkah, the College of Public Health and Health Informatics organized a course entitled “The Little Aider” on Wednesday, 04/07/1439 AH, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Thabit bin Qais School, Makkah Education Administration. The course was given by Dr. Obaidullah bin Humaid Al-Lehyani, trainer of Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid.
The course aimed at raising the awareness on the methods of protection from risks among the primary school students, highlighting the importance of first aid kit, and training the littler aiders on how to deal with bleeding, cuts and slight burns.
At the end of the course, Mr. Abdrabou Al-Salmi, leader of the School, thanked Dr. Waheeb bin Dakheelullah Al-Harbi, Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, and Dr. Obaidullah bin Humaid Al-Lehyani for such fruitful cooperation in building and developing the knowledge of our dear students and enhancing their paramedical skills for serving their families and communities.
