Dictated by the principle of community service and continuous education, the College of Public Health and Health Informatics conducted the “Young Paramedic” course on Wednesday, Jumada Al-Thani 12, 1439 AH, from 10:00 to 11:10 AM, at Al-Nawariyah Primary School, Makkah Education Administration. The course was given by His Excellency Dr. Obaidullah bin Humaid Al-Lehyani, Trainer of Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid.
The course aimed at raising the level of knowledge of primary school students on risk prevention methods; highlighting the importance of the first aid kit; and providing training on how to deal with slight bleeding, wounds, and burns that young paramedics can handle.
At the end of the course, Mr. Adel Al-Omari, Leader of the School, thanked His Excellency Dr. Waheeb bin Dakheelullah Al-Harbi, Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, and His Excellency Dr. Obaidullah bin Humaid Al-Lehyani for such fruitful cooperation in building the knowledge of our dear students on paramedical skills to serve their families and communities.
