In the presence of Vice-Dean Dr. Hamed Abdulaaziz Hussein, the College's Director Sweileh bin Ayed Al-Qurashi, Dean of the College of Public Health Dr. Wahib bin Dakhil Ullah Al Harby has concluded the Administrative Staff Development Program for male employees at the College's headquarter in Aziziyah. The program was prepared and lead by senior specialist Dr. Ubaidullah bin Humeid al-Lehiani.
The programs as well as its objectives were announced since its inception late Jumada al-Thani 1438 A.H. The program featured a weekly session (for 30 minutes, from 08:30 AM to 09:00 AM). It incorporated seven sessions for the College administrative staff to boost their cooperative spirit and set a role model among them. In every session, an employee would share his job experience with other colleagues. Then, Dr. al-Lehiani would deliver a brief lecture on some concepts and values that enhance the spirit of cooperation among employees.
The first lecture was on "Working Group: Concept, Advantages and Importance), while the second was entitled "Working Group Practical Applications", where employees were divided into four groups covering some aspects of quality, work organization and social factors to strengthen their mutual knowledge and social engagement. the third session handled "The College's Evacuation Team Plan, Types of Fires and How to Use the Fire Extinguisher", whereas the fourth was on "Achievements of Each Working Group" The fifth session addressed the topic on "Work Stress: Concept, Causes and How to Cut on Them" The sixth session dealt with "The Safety Committee Agenda, the Importance of Evacuation Plan and Training on it" Then, all participants made an inspection tour to gain more insight on each employee's role in the evacuation plan.
In the final session, an evaluation survey was distributed among participants. Then, participants who attended all sessions were honored, followed by a brief statement on the importance of knowledge and learning. After that, participants visited the College's modern library to learn about the available valuable books and how to utilize them.
Finally, the Dean expressed his deep thanks to the Development Program organizers, calling for further meetings, in addition to administrative workshop next year. Then he wished all a Ramadan full of obedience and worships.
