In February 2017, the Quality Week was held under the supervision of the Makkah Health Affairs Directorate and Ajyad ER Hospital. The UQU College of Public Health and Health Informatics, as represented by one of its faculty members, Dr. Dossouki Allam, participated in the event with two lectures, the first on patient safety, whereas the other was the legal liability of a physician and patient rights. Meanwhile, 6 students from the college's Department of Health Promotion and Education participated in a lecture oriented to nursing, administrative and technical staff. The lecture was centered on the importance of hand-washing, and how to properly wash hands.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed al-Maleki, Director of Ajyad Hospital, extended thanks and gratitude to the UQU College of Public Health and Health Informatics, and its dean, Dr. Waheeb D. al-Harbi. He extended thanks, aslo, to all participants from the college, and handed certificates of thanks out to them.
