The Internal Audit Department has organized a number of meetings to introduce internal auditing, such as:

• The first workshop on the development and implementation of the university's internal audit activities. The workshop was held on Wednesday Jumada Al-Awwal 3^rd, 1435H (corresponding to March 4^th, 2014) in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University.
• A meeting to follow up the progress of the university's timetable with the aim of helping develop and implement the university's internal audit activities. The meeting was held on Shawwal 16^th, 1436H (corresponding to August 1^st, 2015) at the office of His Excellency the university's Vice-President.
• A get-together over draft internal audit guides, and the strategic plan. The meeting was held on Sunday Safar 2^nd, 1436H (corresponding to December 14^th, 2014) at the office of His Excellency the university's Vice-President.
• A meeting on the role of the university's Vice-Presidency for Academic Development and Community Service in training employees, strategic planning and developing the university's administrative, financial and procedural systems. The meeting was held on Sunday Rabi' Al-Awwal 3^rd, 1436H (corresponding to January 4^th, 2015) at the office of His Excellency the university's Vice-President for Academic Development and Community Service.
• A get-together to review the outcomes of internal audit activities and approve guidebooks and systems of internal auditing. The meeting was held on Thursday Rabi' Al-Thani 9^th, 1436H (corresponding to January 29^th, 2015) at the university's headquarters in Abidia in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University.
• A meeting over launching internal audit activities at some of the departments of the university's Vice-Presidency for Branches. The meeting was held on Sunday Muharram 12^th, 1437H (corresponding to October 25^th, 2015) at the vice-presidency's headquarters in Abidia in the presence of the Vice-President for Branches.
• The second workshop on internal audit from Jumada Al Thani 22, which was attended by President of the University at King Abdulaziz Hall, Al-Abidiyah.
• Other meetings with officials of departments before and after internal audit activities.
