The Department of English in Al-Leith University College held a workshop entitled: "Preparing an Excel Worksheet Report for Measuring Learning Outcomes", on Thursday, 16 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1442 A.H., at 4 p.m., via the WebEx platform.

The workshop was opened with a welcoming speech by His Excellency the Head of the Department of English at Al-Leith University College, Dr. Makhlad ibn Uwaid Al-Saeedi, which was followed by a presentation by Mr. Hassan Muhammadi, an academic staff member of the department. Mr. Muhammadi, who supervised the course, focused on presenting the method of distributing the grades obtained by students according to the three basic learning outcomes: the cognitive aspect, the skill aspect, as well as the competencies aspect.

In his presentation, Mr. Hassan Muhammadi also focused on how to read the data obtained after the completion of the process of distributing students' grades according to the course learning outcomes, and the transfer of the final result in percentages to the course report prepared by the course instructor. This is in order to check whether the desired goal of the outputs has been achieved or not.

At the end, the attendees had the opportunity to ask their inquiries and questions about the topic of the workshop. The meeting then concluded with the Head of the Department extending thanks and appreciation to the supervisor of the course and the ladies and gentlemen among the academic staff members of the department who were present. He did not forget to thank Mr. Ahmad Hajjou, a staff member in the department, who arranged for the workshop session to be held on the WebEx platform.

The course was also tape recorded and shared with other colleagues who did not have the opportunity to attend the workshop.
