The Department of Arabic at Adham University College celebrated the World Arabic Language Day by holding a lecture entitled, “Arabic Language and Artificial Intelligence”. The celebration was held on Wednesday, 14 Rabi` Al-Thani 1441 A.H., at 10: 30 a.m.

During this event, the female students offered their works, giving an informative presentation on the Arabic language. The works also demonstrated how to make use of computer technology to process the Arabic language and make it a worldwide language. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of Arabic Language, Ms. Siham Saad Al-Qahtani, and a group of university staff members and employees from Adham University College.

Ms. Siham Al-Qahtani also gave an overview of the establishment and development of the Department of Arabic Language over the past years, highlighting its status as one of the most important departments in the college. She also valued the efforts and work of the faculty members of the department, and their dedication towards the advancement of the department and its progress; they have a set target to make the department a model of diligence and hard work in the service of scientific research and education.

The Deputy Head of the Department honored the faculty members for all their efforts. In return, they expressed their thanks and gratitude for all the efforts Ms. Siham has made to advance the department and make it top-rated.
