His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture, Dr. Ahmad bin Naif Al-Ahmadi, received His Excellency the Advisor to the Secretary of the Holy Makkah Municipality for Studies and Development of Slums, Dr. Abdul-Qadir Amir, in the presence of His Excellency the Head of the Department of Islamic Architecture, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Bukhari.
His Excellency the Advisor visited the urban planning studio, where the students of the studio, under the supervision of the academic staff of the studio, Eng. Jameel Al-Salafi, Dr. Khalid Sami, Dr. Abdu Al-Absi, Dr. Khalid Barashid, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Majrashi, reviewed the studies and proposals for the development of Al-Salamah district in Makkah Al-Mukkaramah. These studies come within the framework of the mutual initiative which is being developed by the Department of Islamic Architecture and the Holy Makkah Municipality to carry out studies and projects for the development of slums in Makkah Al-Mukkaramah.
His Excellency the Advisor praised and appreciated the scientific and academic level of the students and the department, and he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the students and their professors.
