Within the framework of the agreement of cooperation between Umm Al-Qura University and the General Directorate of Education in Makkah, the Makkah Community College arranged for the visit to Al-Balad Al-Amin School for Gifted Students in Makkah by a delegation of experts from Umm Al-Qura University. During the visit, the delegation met with the school principal, deputy principals, and a number of teachers.

The visitors reviewed the scientific streams of the gifted students and the efforts exerted to foster the student projects. They also examined the physics, mathematics, chemistry, and computer laboratories, and a group of students gave explanations of their inventions and achievements. Next, there was a meeting with the students, who received scientific consultations and guidelines from the experts.

The delegation was represented by His Excellency Dr. Abbas Ghandurah from the College of Education, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Jalali from the Makkah Community College, and His Excellency Dr. Badr Al-Din Badr Al-Qabbani.
