Within the framework of the agreement of cooperation between Umm Al-Qura University and the General Directorate of Education in Makkah, the Community College organized a training program (Mawhibah [Talent]) for mathematics teachers on the modern techniques of teaching mathematics to gifted students, over a period of two days.

The course was delivered by the academic expert in the teaching methods of mathematics, Dr. Abbas Ghandura, from the Department of Curriculum at the College of Education. The Deanship of Academic Development and Quality hosted the meeting in one of its training halls.

The teachers were trained in modern, practical and applied mechanisms in teaching mathematics to gifted students. Furthermore, this program is part of a series of programs to improve the teachers of education in Makkah.
