The professor of the applied and engineering mathematics at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the UQU College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture, Hamdy M. Youssef, won the best research award at the 21st International Conference on Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing (ICAMSC 2019) held from 17 to 18 January 2019 A.C., in Rome, Italy.

He won the award together with Dr. Eman Al-Lihaibi, the associate professor at the department of mathematics in Al-Leith College of Science (female section). The research title was, "Adomian's decomposition method on generalized magneto-thermoelasticity".
