Aims and Scope
Saudi Toxicology Journal (STJ) published and distributed by Saudi Toxicology Society (STS), Umm Alqura University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. STJ is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary open access journal published three times per year and includes original research articles, illustrative cases and review articles in all areas of toxicological sciences.
The Saudi Toxicology Journal (STJ) provides an international forum dedicated to advancing the science and practice of toxicology, The journal publishes original research articles and reviews on the structure, function, and mechanism of agents that are toxic to humans and/or animals, ranging from the molecular scale to the organismal level, as well as risk assessment, safety evaluation, and environmental health. STJ addresses research on the analysis of toxic substances in biological fluids with an emphasis on its application in clinical and forensic toxicology. Further, STJ reports clinical advances in clinical toxicology, adverse health effects resulting from medications and studies on drugs of abuse, doping agents, chemical warfare agents, designer drugs and postmortem in forensic toxicology. The STJ target audience includes undergraduates to full professionals in academic, medical, forensic, industrial and regulatory settings.
