Adham governorate falls in the south west of Saudi Arabia, in Tihamah. It is affiliated to Makkah Province and falls at the longitude (45-40 or 41) and latitude (15-20 and 30-20). It is 380 kilometers away from Makkah. It has monuments that are more than 4000 years old, about which more research and studies are required.
The University College in Adham was opened by virtue of the Higher Education Council's decision taken in its 70th session, which was held on 1 Rajab, 1433 A.H. This decision provided for the establishment of this university college in Adham as an affiliate of Umm Al-Qura University.
The male section comprises the following departments: 1) Department of Arabic language. 2) Department of Basic Sciences (Mathematics). The female section comprises the following departments: 1) Department of Arabic language. 2) Department of Basic Sciences (Mathematics, Biology), and 3) Computer and Information Sciences.
Re-enrollment (for the dropped out, dismissed, or totally withdrawing students): In the first week of the semester. Apology: From the second week until the twelfth week. Postponement: Until the end of the first week of the semester. Automatic transfer: From the seventh week to the eighth week of the semester. Changing the type of study (from affiliation to regular attending): Until the end of the first week of the semester.

The students can submit a request to register in a course whose prerequisites have not been fulfilled in the second phase, in order for the department to study the request and take the suitable decision.
It is the phase in which the students submit their requests for registering courses electronically via the portal, in order for the department to study the requests, approve or disapprove them, and give reasons for any action.
The students can select to display all the university campuses on the page of the available courses. However, they should go to the deanship to register their courses.
