The Primary Supervisor is a faculty member appointed to deliver the graduation project course, and s/he is the primary supervisor of the student.
The Primary Supervisor main responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:
- Review and approve the research topic presented by the student.
- Present a list for the possible topics for the students; in accordance with the research field of the academic program- when possible.
- Provide consultancy and help for the students in planning and developing his project.
- Regularly meet up and work with the student on his project to review the dissertation drafts, and discuss the project proposal.
- The project (and hence difficulties that might face the students in their researches)
- Review and sign all project-related required documents.
- Evaluate the graduation project’s dissertation after review, and present it to the second and the third reviewers to comment and express their opinions on it.
- Present the updates to the Graduation Projects Committee along with any changes or difficulties encountered in the project.
- Participate in evaluating the final projects with the examiners.
