Awareness-Raising Lectures
- Delivering a lecture and distributing flyers, models, and publications as part of the community activity raising awareness of breast cancer on the International Breast Cancer Day. The activity included a demonstration of breast self-examination procedures for females. This awareness event took place on 9 Safar 1439 A.H., corresponding to 29 October 2017 A.C., at the primary health care center in Makkah.
- Participation of the Shifaa organization in the community activity raising awareness of diabetes on the World Diabetes Mellitus Day. This awareness event took place on 27–29 Safar 1439 A.H., corresponding to 16–18 November 2017 A.C., in the community of Al-Zaidi Governorate in Makkah.
- Delivering a lecture and distributing booklets and publications as part of the community awareness activity associated with Dubai Municipality to celebrate the International Day. This awareness event took place on 19–23 Safar 1439 A.H., corresponding to 8–12 November 2017 A.C., at the primary health care center in Makkah.
- Delivering a lecture and distributing booklets and publications as part of the community awareness activity associated with Dubai Municipality to celebrate the International Day. This awareness event took place on 4 Jumada Al-Thani 1439 A.H., corresponding to 13 November 2017 A.C., at the secondary school in Makkah.
- Delivering a lecture and distributing booklets, publications, and a medical model of diabetic foot complications as part of the community activities raising awareness of the risks of diabetes on the World Diabetes Mellitus Day. This awareness event took place on 24 Safar 1439 A.H., corresponding to 13 November 2017 A.C., at the secondary school in Makkah.
- Delivering a lecture and distributing booklets and publications as part of the antibiotics (antimicrobial drugs) awareness activities. This awareness event took place on 4 Jumada Al-Thani 1439 A.H., corresponding to 20 February 2018 A.C., at the secondary school in Makkah.
- Delivering a lecture and distributing booklets, models, and publications as part of the community education activities teaching basic life support and first aid measures. The event also included showing the students how to perform CPR procedures.12 The activities took place on 12 Jumada Al-Thani 1439 A.H., corresponding to 27 February 2018 A.C., at the secondary school in Makkah.
- Delivering a lecture and distributing booklets and publications as part of the community activity raising awareness about sedative drugs. This awareness event took place on 25 Jumada Al-Thani 1339 A.H., corresponding to 13 March 2018 A.C., at the secondary school in Makkah.
- Distributing many flyers and posters about (corticosteroids, high blood pressure, diabetes, anticoagulants, antihistamines, and anemia) to school and university students, and also to patients at the primary health care centers.
