The council of the department is composed of a number of administrative and academic committees for facilitating the mission of the council of the department in making the appropriate recommendations towards the proposed subjects, working on instilling the proactive behavior, and the spirit of competition and loyalty to the department through the participation of the members of the department in its management, and suggesting outstanding ideas that contribute to the development of performance inside the department.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences has many committees, and each of them has specific tasks.

General duties of all the committees:

  • Submitting the minutes of the committee meeting to the head of the department.
  • Contributing to enrich the content of the website of the department.
  • The head of the department referring some duties to the committee.
  • Documenting the outcomes of the committee in the annual report.
