It’s my pleasure to welcome visitors of the webpage of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Umm Al-Qura University. This Department has always sincerely and diligently served its students and associates, to promote the students to the highest levels of excellence. The department also graduated a large number of distinguished professionals who served in many fields, including education, research and industry. Many of our graduates were appointed in different universities as academics, others joined the public education sector to serve the society, and others work in hospitals, banks and factories.

The Department seeks to achieve more progress and advancement, through applying some study plans for the bachelor, master’s and PhD degrees that suit the labor market to cope with the remarkable progress achieved by our beloved country in all fields. This will be also achieved through attracting national and international experts to advance the ranks of the Department and the University. I heartily pray to God to crown our efforts with success and achievements.
