Abstract

The study aimed to raise awareness among promising female researchers in the fields of research support and funding provided by Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research. This was achieved by identifying the challenges faced by postgraduate students at the College of Education in obtaining research grants in three areas: the first related to the students themselves, the second related to the Deanship of Scientific Research, and the third related to administrative procedures.  To achieve the study's goal, the descriptive method was employed. A questionnaire was administered to a random sample of 156 female students from the College of Education. The variables considered included specialization, academic level, and academic level. The findings indicated that students perceived difficulties in obtaining research grants, with an average score of 2.63 for challenges related to the students themselves, 2.47 for challenges related to the role of the Deanship of Scientific Research, and 2.41 for challenges related to administrative procedures.  Based on these results, the study proposed several solutions to overcome these difficulties.
