Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the partial contribution regarding the best learning method in predicting the stress of the students enrolled in the preparatory course of the Islamic University of Madinah. The descriptive approach was used (predictive) through the application of the Learning Styles Scale (Biggs al., 2001) and the future anxiety scale (Zainab Shukair, 2005) against a random sample of 184 students from the preparatory year in Islamic University of Madinah.The results concluded that the preferred learning style according to the participants of this study is deep learning, with an mild level of future anxiety, In addition, it is possible to predict the of future anxiety by knowing the preferred learning style of the student. Furthermore, the results show that the method of deep learning is the most capable of predicting the of future anxiety. The researcher reached a set of recommendations through the findings of this study.
