Abstract
This paper aims to reveal the relationship between the quality of family life and the skills of coping with stress among the study sample of Talented Female Students in the Intermediate and High schools in Saudi Arabia n=167 according to a several demographic variables. It also aims to identify the level of the quality of family life and the most common skill in dealing with stress among the study sample. The researchers used a descriptive statistical approach to analyze data. In addition, they used the scale of family life quality as well as the scale of skills of coping with stress for talented students. The results of this paper showed that the talented female students have a high degree of both quality of family life and the skills of coping with stress. Moreover, it showed a positive significant relationship between the quality of family life and the skills of coping with stress. Also, there are statistically significant differences between the talented female students in the level of family life quality for the intermediate school students. However, there are no statistically significant differences between the talented female students in terms of dealing with stress in both intermediate and high school. Furthermore, there are statistically significant differences in the quality of family life level among talented students for those who have 4 to 6 members in their family. In contrast, there are no differences among talented students in the skills of coping with stress according to family members.
