Abstract:
The aim of this research is to discover the effectiveness of a remote training program in developing the skills of using the Moodle E-learning Management System among faculty members of Shaqra University. This research followed the experimental research methodology based on one group design. The research sample consisted of (30) faculty members of Shaqra University. To achieve the aim of this research, a remote training program to develop the skills of using the Moodle E-Learning Management System among the faculty members was prepared by the researcher, and an objective achievement test to measure the cognitive aspects and an observation card to measure the performance skills were designed, which were applied pre and post the training program. It is found from the results that there are statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level between the mean scores of the members of the research group in the pre and post applications of the research tools in favor of the post application. This confirms the effectiveness of the remote training program in developing the skills of using the Moodle E-Learning Management System. In the light of the research results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and suggestions.
