Abstract:
The study aimed to detect the practice degree of faculty members of distance education competencies from point of view of the students at Umm Al-Qura University according to the repercussions of Corona virus COVID 19. The researcher used the descriptive method to achieve the study gols, and applied a questionnaire to collect data. The study sample consisted of (247) male and female students at Umm Al-Qura University, were chosen at random and distributed according to the variables (gender, specialization, academic level). Results revealed that the possessing degree of faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University of the required competencies for distance education was high, and the application degree of faculty members of distance education through their teaching practices and student activities was high from point of view of the study sample. There were no statistically significant differences in responses of the study sample members about the practice degree of faculty members of distance education at Umm Al-Qura University due to demographic variables (gender, specialization, academic level).
