The Effectiveness of Using Differentiated Learning strategies in Teaching Social Studies to Develop Some Communication Skills for Students in the First Grade of Prep School

Abstract:   

The presented research aims to search The Effectiveness of Using Differentiated Learning strategies in Teaching Social Studies to Develop Some Communication Skills for Students in the First Grade of Prep School, to verify that the researcher used the experimental curriculum with its semi- experimental design. The teacher's edition was prepared (Climate and Natural Plant Unit) according to the strategies of Differentiated Instruction and preparing a scale for Communication Skills. The study sample consists of 60students (30 experimental and 30 controlled) from the schools of Eastern Educational Administration in Kafr Elsheikh for the academic year (2018-2019) the second semester. The scale for Communication Skills was applied as a pre-test, and then Experimental Group used the strategies of Differentiated Instruction. The Controlled Group has used the traditional method; the scale for Communication Skills was applied as a post-test. The given results show that there are some statistical differences at (0.05) level between the average of marks of Experimental Group students on the scale for Communication Skills in the Social Studies curriculum after teaching, The value of "T" (37.29) was for the Experimental Group.
