The Department of Graphic Design is one of the modern and innovative departments of the College of Designs and Arts and it seeks to meet the needs and requirements of the Saudi labor market and graduate qualified cadres to the various fields of graphic design.

Graphic design is an integral part of different areas of life, being the visual language that connects the reader with the different types of static and moving messages. The UQU Graphic Design Program aims to equip the students to be able to understand visual problems and develop innovative and bold solutions for the target audience, through a comprehensive theoretical and practical study plan, starting from studying general courses that combine different design principles, up to studying specialized courses concerned with advertisement design, logo design, website design, etc. The program requires the students to carry out actual hands-on projects to hone their cognitive and strategic skills, which qualifies them to be highly qualified designers capable of developing the visual language of contemporary society and ready for the challenges of the labor market - with the help of Allah (Exalted be He).

Finally, it goes without saying that design is one of the basic building blocks of creative imagination and innovation. I wish you a creative academic journey that aims to prepare and qualify distinguished designers in various fields of visual creativity.
