It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Housing and Home Management (female section) at the College of Designs and Arts, Umm Al-Qura University,

The department offers an undergraduate program in Housing and Home Management as well as postgraduate programs (master's and Ph.D.) with the aim of preparing and training the graduates through the courses studied on various technical and administrative skills to qualify them for the labor market.

Bachelor's Degree in Housing and Home Management:

The bachelor’s degree in Housing and Home Management is awarded after successfully passing eight levels of study in four years. 'During these years, the student learns and acquires scientific and practical values, knowledge, and skills in various fields, including:

• The administrative aspect (management of individuals, marketing, and small projects, and also event management, etc.)
• Skill aspect (house design, decoration, furniture, etc.)

Graduates will be qualified to work in several different fields (social institutions, freelance work, shops for decor and floral arrangement, event organization, etc.)
