Participation Terms and Conditions

Types of participation in the forum:

  • Scientific papers, including abstract of research papers - field experiences and practices - and full research papers.
  • Scientific posters
  • Workshops

Conditions for submitting the abstracts of scientific papers:

  • The abstract paper must be related to one of the themes of the forum.
  • The abstract of the scientific paper must be characterized by originality and novelty, and must meet the generally accepted principles of scientific research.
  •  The participant must submit the complete abstract paper, which includes the following elements: a title, introduction, research problem, objectives, main areas, research methodology, findings, discussion of the findings, recommendations, and references, in compliance with the participation form template (here).
  •  The abstract of the scientific paper must not exceed 4 pages, including the list of references.
  •  Font type: Arial; font size for headings: 14 Bold; font size for text: 12; line spacing: single.
  •  Participants shall prepare a PowerPoint Presentation on the subject of their participation in full, taking into account the following:
  •  Compliance with the template of the forum presentations according to the template (here).
  •  Font type for the display template (Arial) - font size for headlines (40) - font size for subheadings (30) and font size for text (20)
  •  The presentation must contain the main elements (introduction, research problem, objectives, main areas, images, shapes, and tables, if any, research methodology, findings and discussion of the findings, recommendations, and references.)
  • The information must be concise and concentrated, covering all aspects of participation. The writing must be clear, and the backgrounds and colors must be consistent.
  •  The participant is encouraged to be creative in preparing their presentation and add multimedia elements in the way they deem appropriate and appealing to the audience.
  •  Note that the time allocated for displaying the presentation is only 10 minutes.
  • Please attach the CV of the participant according to the form (here)
  •  Abstracts, presentations, and CVs shall be sent to the Scientific Committee of the Forum via the following email only: [email protected] and the title of the email should be: (Abstract Scientific Paper Form by Dr. ...........................) one in a PDF and one in Word format.
  •  The participation form - presentation - CV must be submitted within the specified period.

Conditions for Submitting a Scientific Poster:

  • The abstract of the scientific poster must be related to one of the themes of the forum.
  •  Participations may be individual or collective.
  •  The participant must submit an abstract of the scientific poster, reviewing the objective, research methodology, and the most important findings and recommendations, in compliance with the participation form template (here).
  •  Font type: Arial; font size for headings: 14 Bold; font type for text: 12; line spacing: single.
  • The submitted scientific poster must comply with the template of scientific posters according to the template (here).
  • The poster must contain the title of the research - names of the participants and their respective institutions - research introduction, research problem, objectives, main areas - research methodology - findings - recommendations - thanks and gratitude for the supporting body - references.
  • Font type for the poster: Arial - font size for headlines: 18 - font size for subheadings: 14 - and font size for text: (12)
  • The participation abstract form and scientific poster template shall be sent to the forum only via email: dvdart@ uqu.edu  with the title: (Scientific Poster by Dr.............)
  •  Please attach the CV of the participant according to the form (here).
  • The participation form - scientific paper template - CV must be submitted within the specified period.

Conditions for submitting workshops:

  • The workshops must be related to one of the themes of the forum.
  • The participant must submit an abstract that includes the title, objectives, and the most prominent elements of the scientific content, in compliance with the participation form (here).
  • Font type: Arial; font size for headings: 14; font size for text: 12; line spacing: single.
  • The abstract of the workshop content must not exceed 4 pages.
  • The workshop must include practical applications of what was mentioned in its content.
  • Please attach the CV of the participant according to the form (here).
  • The participant shall prepare a PowerPoint Presentation on the subject of their participation in full, taking into account the following:
  • The participant must comply with the template for the forum presentations according to the template (here).
  •  Font type for the presentation template: Arial - font size for headlines: 40 - font size for subheadings: 30; and font size for text: 20.
  • The presentation must contain the main elements: title, objectives, and the most prominent elements of the scientific content.
  • The information must be concise and concentrated, covering all aspects of participation.
  • The writing must be clear, and the backgrounds and colors must be consistent.
  • Workshop abstracts and CVs shall be sent to the Scientific Committee of the Forum via the following email only: [email protected] and the title of the email should be: (Workshop abstract by Dr. .....................) one in a PDF and one in Word format, within the specified periods.
  • The duration of the workshop must not exceed 120 minutes, and the presenter should clarify their need for any technical means or equipment required to be provided.
