Duties of the Committee

 
  • Promoting awareness among academic members about the importance of the modernization of the educational curricula.
  • Asking the various departments of the college to make preliminary studies regarding all the curricula offered by each program. The studies will involve studying the current academic curricula and courses to identify the major problems facing the development and modernization of these courses.
  • Providing appropriate practical solutions to the problems related to the development of curricula in the different programs being offered, according to priority. This is in addition to the establishment of a practical mechanism for the implementation of proposals for the development of the current curricula based on the results obtained from preliminary studies.
  • Developing study plans for the programs.
  • Reviewing the study plans and submitting any amendments to the Higher Curricula Committee.
  • Supervising the implementation of the plan set forth for the development and updating of curricula of the programs by monitoring the implementation of the recommendations and furnishing the necessary advice in this regard.
