Authorities and Tasks

  1. Supervising the application of administrative and financial regulations in the College.
  2. Supervising the progress of the administrative work within the college and its development.
  3. Supervising the financial affairs and the tasks assigned to the college in accordance with the rules and regulations.
  4. Preparing an approximate budget of the College in coordination with the departments and other units of the college.
  5. Working to develop and reinforce the self-resources of the College.
  6. Supervising everything related to purchase requests, disbursement, procurement, receipt and delivery in accordance with the rules and regulations.
  7. Following up the spending from the College’s budget on the requirements of work supervision within the College
  8. Preparing the needs of the college, including accredited administrative jobs and vacant positions required to be filled, in coordination with the departments of the College.
  9. Supervising the organization of regular leaves for the College staff, including administrative employees, technicians, workers, and laborers.
  10. Supervising the preparation of performance evaluations for administrative employees.
  11. Supervising the work related to the applications of contractors in the college in terms of passports (residence, visas and travel tickets).
  12. Approval of authentication on the guarantees required from contractors when traveling.
  13. Supervising the College's facilities with the relevant authorities and setting up plans to follow up the maintenance and cleanliness of these facilities.
  14. Supervising the communication with the concerned authorities by fixing urgent damages within the college and following them up.
  15.  Supervising the distribution of offices and coordinating the programs of scientific seminar halls to allow proper use of them.
  16. Laying out a comprehensive plan for media and public relations within the College.
  17. Making recommendations to form the committees needed for the performance of the College’s Vice Deanship and the units affiliated to it.
  18. Preparing regular and annual reports on the performance of the Deanship and referring them to the Dean of the College.
  19. Preparing the needs of the college, including accredited administrative jobs and vacant positions required to be filled, in coordination with the departments of the College.
  20. Recommending the presence of faculty members in training courses inside and outside the university.
  21. Supervising reporting on all faculty members attending and leaving work.
  22. Supervising the preparation of disciplinary accountabilities for the administrative staff of the College in accordance with the regulations and rules.
  23. Supervising the preparation of performance evaluations for administrative employees.
  24. Coordinating and developing the College’s relations, within UQU and outside it.
  25. Coordinating the work of the Advisory Board of the College and implementing its recommendations.
  26. Supervising the organization of delegation visits to the College.
  27. Supervising the coverage of the College’s celebrations, activities and programs in the media.
  28. Accrediting identification certificates for the College’s non-faculty members' staff in accordance with the system.
  29. Implementing the tasks assigned by the Dean.
