Tasks and Responsibilities of the Vice-Deanship for Development and Quality

  1. Promote the culture of quality and disseminating it at the college level;
  2. Increasing the efficiency of the college's quality system;
  3. Follow up college programs' achievement of the requirements of academic accreditation;
  4. Oversee the preparation of the college's development and operational plans, and following up their implementation;
  5. Investigate the difficulties and problems facing the college's development and quality programs and proposing their appropriate solutions;
  6. Determine the training needs of faculty members in the scientific departments and coordinating their implementation with the relevant authorities;
  7. Put forward necessary plans for the development of skills of the college's employees and faculty members;
  8. Stimulate the participation of faculty members in the programs offered by the Deanship of quality and skills development;
  9. Organize and follow up prize-awarding activities for creativity and excellence in performance of education, research and administration in the college;
  10. Liaise with the Deanship of quality and development of skills in matters of quality and academic accreditation, in coordination with Dean of the college;
  11. Develop mechanisms to identify the expectations, requirements and level of satisfaction of the beneficiaries (entering and leaving) of the college's Services, and using them to raise the efficiency of work in the college;
  12. Oversee the preparation of the annual report of the college;
  13. Suggest formation of committees on the work of the Vice Deanship;
  14. Permanently coordinate with Vice Deans and heads of scientific departments in all that realizes the objectives of the college;
  15. Liaise with the corresponding academic and administrative units of the university in all that helps in the performance of duties, and realization of the objectives of the Vice Deanship, in coordination with Dean of the college; and
  16. Prepare a comprehensive report on the process of quality assurance and accreditation in the college and submitting it to Dean of the College.
