The Department of English in Al-Leith University College held a training course for the male and female graduates of the college entitled: “How to Handle a Job Interview”, on Monday, 10 Rajab 1442 A.H., via the WebEx platform. The course was supervised by Dr. Makhlad bin Uwaid Al-Saeedi, Vice Dean of the University College in Al-Leith for Academic Affairs and Head of the Department of English in Al-Leith, and Mr. Ahmad Hajjo, a lecturer in the department. A total of 111 students from different academic departments of the college attended the workshop.

The two supervisors of this course dealt with seven basic topics:

• Introducing the personal interview.
• What is the goal of a personal or job interview?
• Types of job interviews.
• How to have a successful personal interview?
• Basics of the personal interview for a job.
• Job interview tips.
• How do you answer the most common questions in personal interviews?

At the end of the course, the attendees were given an opportunity to ask questions and make inquiries about the topic. The workshop together with the Q/A session lasted for three hours.
